WARWICKSHIRE HAWKS – SEASON BEST PERFORMANCE…..
Warwickshire Hawks were impressive as they defeated City of Birmingham Rockets at Moreton Morrell to go level on points at the top of National League Division Four with three other sides including Rockets who have lost their last three games.
It was a tough uncompromising affair with neither side able to establish any sizeable advantage, but a superb second-quarter spell of defensive play restricted Rockets to just nine points as Hawks took a 29-26 half-time lead.
After the break it was all things even as Ash Dickson led Hawks home on 18 and Curtis Hadley chipped in with 17.
Hawks were without the injured Mark Larner and had two others nursing strains and sprains by the end.
