Rugby Rage went home with just the losing point after a fruitless trip to Tile Hill 3 in the first game of the post-Christmas fixtures.
A shock did not look on the cards as Rugby led the veterans by eleven but the home side came back, played good defense and blunted Rage’s offense to cause a big upset and win by four. Tamworth Tigers continued their unbeaten run with a predictable result at Nuneaton, whilst Westwood Rhinos edged out Team Rebels.
In Division One Coventry College came good to stun leaders Arden and win by two after Tile Hill Trojan 1 had put Aylesford to the sword earlier in the week.
In the Second Division Warwick Grizzlies went top after hammering Ernesford Eagles and Trojans 2 swept aside Tornadoes to take the points.
